Russia And Ukraine War: World leaders are trying to stop the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, US President Donald Trump has also intervened, but there has been no success yet. European countries, while supporting Zelensky, want to provide security guarantees if the war is stopped. But amid this guarantee, a big statement has come from Russia. It has said that Western countries are not able to provide security guarantees to Ukraine. 

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, speaking to Russian media, said, "Can foreign, especially European and American military forces provide security and guarantees to Ukraine? Absolutely not, they are not capable. Western countries are not capable of providing any kind of security guarantees to Ukraine." This statement was made at a time when Western countries are trying to establish peace and provide security on the Russia-Ukraine issue. Just today, European leaders met with US President Trump on this matter.

The war between Russia and Ukraine is not stopping

The war between Ukraine and Russia has been going on for a long time. Many attempts were made to stop it. US President Trump also met with Putin and Zelensky, but there was no result. Ukraine has suffered huge losses due to the war. Hundreds of its people have also been killed. Ukraine has also responded to Russia many times. It attacked with missiles and drones.

Guarantee given to Macron

Trump attended a virtual meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky and European leaders. After the meeting, French President Emmanuel Macron made a major announcement that 'if a ceasefire is reached, 26 countries are ready to send troops to the peacekeeping force. The very next day after the ceasefire agreement, 26 Western allies will deploy their troops in Ukraine on all three fronts - 'land, sea and air.' However, Macron clarified that, 'European security guarantees will only be effective if America plays the role of a 'safety net'. In the coming days, we will finalize American cooperation for Ukraine's security guarantees.
