If India did not agree, Trump now increased pressure on Europe, know what he said about buying Russian oil.

US President Donald Trump, who imposed tariffs on India for buying Russian oil, has now fallen behind Europe. In a meeting with world leaders on Thursday, he said that Europe should stop buying Russian oil.

He said that economic pressure should be brought to bear on China to end the war in Ukraine. A White House official gave this information to US broadcaster CNN.

Trump made the remarks on Thursday at a meeting of the 'Coalition of the Willing' with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and other European leaders. This is a group of Ukrainian allies that is trying to end the war and provide security to Ukraine from future attacks.

French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his views on peace in Ukraine after Trump's comments on European countries. He said that 26 countries have promised that if a ceasefire agreement is finalized, they will contribute to a possible peacekeeping force. However, it is believed that without America, European countries will not be able to guarantee security to Ukraine.

On Thursday, Macron acknowledged this, saying that a third factor in strengthening the Ukrainian army and deploying European troops in Ukraine should be a US 'safety net'. 'In the coming days, we will finalize American support for these security guarantees,' the French president said.

The meeting between Trump and European leaders comes amid frustration over Trump's inability to end the war in Ukraine. Nearly three weeks after his Alaska summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump is increasingly frustrated with the lack of progress in peace talks.

US officials said Trump was considering how much he should personally participate in mediating a meeting between Russian and Ukrainian leaders.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that “a lot of work” needs to be done before any high-level meeting between Russia and Ukraine, according to Russia’s state news agency RIA.

A White House official said Macron and European leaders invited Trump to a meeting in which Trump “insisted that Europe stop buying Russian oil because it is helping Russia in its war.” Trump also said that Russia earns 1.1 billion euros a year selling fuel to the EU.

“The president also stressed that European leaders should put economic pressure on China for funding Russia’s war effort,” the official said.

Trump is targeting countries that trade with Russia.
The report says that Trump is targeting countries that trade with Russia, but he is personally concerned that doing so could affect negotiations with Russia to end the war in Ukraine.

When asked on Wednesday whether he was considering imposing sanctions on countries that trade with Russia, Trump said he had already done so. “I’ve already done that with India,” Trump said, referring to his decision to raise tariffs on India to 50% for Russian oil imports.

Will Trump come to India for the Quad summit? Amid tariff dispute, India-US relations may see a new beginning

India-US Relations :   Tensions are currently running high between India and the US and between President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but will the friendship between the two leaders get back on track? This question has become the center of discussion in global diplomacy. Despite trade tensions and 50% tariffs between India and the US, an opportunity to strengthen relations between the two countries can be found in the Quad (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) summit. India is going to host this summit in November this year. Trump recently took to his social media platform Truth Social to describe the India-US trade relationship as a one-sided disaster and imposed a total of 50% tariffs on India, including an additional 25% tariff on its purchase of Russian oil. He also claimed that India had offered to reduce the tariffs to zero, but it was too late. On the other hand, India has called the tariffs unfair, unexpected and unreasonable. However, PM Modi did...
