Peter Navarro Post Fact Check: US President Donald Trump's personal and White House trade advisor Peter Navarro has been repeatedly attacking India. This time, his post alleging against India has been the victim of a fact check. Navarro is even more furious after the fact check exposed the double standards of Navarro and America.

Accusations made against India again

Navarro had alleged in a post on X that jobs in America are being lost due to India's high tariffs. India buys crude from Russia only for profit, with that earnings Russia is running its 'war machine'. Ukrainians-Russians are dying. American taxpayers have to pay excessive taxes. India will not be able to tolerate truth and lies.

Musk's sarcasm on Navarro's post

A few hours after Navarro's post, the world's richest man, Elon Musk, linked Navarro's post on X with a community note. In which, through fact check, it was said that India has purchased Russian crude for energy security, not just for profit. This is not a violation of any international sanctions. America itself imports uranium and other minerals from Russia. Which calls its policy hypocritical, meaning double-minded.

Navarro was outraged by Musk's post.

Navarro was even more furious at Elon Musk's response, and he attacked Musk himself and said, "Wow! Elon Musk is spreading propaganda in people's posts. This is the most absurd note. India buys crude from Russia only for profit. Before Russia attacked Ukraine, no one was buying crude from it. The Indian government's spin machine is running rampant. Stop killing the people of Ukraine. Stop taking away the jobs of Americans."

Twitter has also fact-checked this post of Navarro. It clearly states that India's crude trade is its sovereign decision and does not violate international law. The platform has once again emphasized America's double standards.

Will Trump come to India for the Quad summit? Amid tariff dispute, India-US relations may see a new beginning

India-US Relations :   Tensions are currently running high between India and the US and between President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but will the friendship between the two leaders get back on track? This question has become the center of discussion in global diplomacy. Despite trade tensions and 50% tariffs between India and the US, an opportunity to strengthen relations between the two countries can be found in the Quad (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) summit. India is going to host this summit in November this year. Trump recently took to his social media platform Truth Social to describe the India-US trade relationship as a one-sided disaster and imposed a total of 50% tariffs on India, including an additional 25% tariff on its purchase of Russian oil. He also claimed that India had offered to reduce the tariffs to zero, but it was too late. On the other hand, India has called the tariffs unfair, unexpected and unreasonable. However, PM Modi did...
