PM Modi gave information about the conversation with Macron by posting on social media platform X. PM Modi wrote in his post, “Had a very good conversation with President Macron. We reviewed the progress of bilateral cooperation in various fields and positively assessed it. Exchanged views on international and regional issues, including efforts to end the conflict in Ukraine at an early date. The India-France strategic partnership will continue to play an important role in promoting global peace and stability.”

French President Emmanuel Macron also shared a post on social media platform X after talking to PM Modi on Saturday (September 6, 2025). Macron said, 'I just spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I told him about the results of the meeting held in Paris on Thursday (September 4, 2025) with Ukrainian President Zelensky and our partners in the Coalition of the Willing.' He said, 'India and France have a common desire for Ukraine to establish immediate and lasting peace in Ukraine. Based on our friendship and strategic partnership, we will continue to move forward together to chart the path to peace.'
