Russia Ukraine War: Amidst ongoing efforts for a ceasefire, Russia continues to launch a series of attacks on the Ukrainian capital Kiev. According to current information, Russia has carried out hundreds of drone strikes. At least two people have been killed and 11 injured in these attacks. Information is emerging that more than 800 drones have been used in this attack. This is one of the largest attacks on Ukraine by Russia. 

Ukrainian officials gave this information on Sunday. The head of the Kiev city administration, Timur Tkachenko, said that a one-year-old child was among the dead. His body was pulled from the rubble by rescue workers. A government building in Kiev also caught fire due to a Russian drone strike.

Attack on residential building

According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, a Russian drone attacked a residential building in the Svyatoshinsky and Darnytskyi districts, causing damage to property. The drone and missile attacks by Russia continue amid ceasefire talks between Ukraine and Russia. 

Efforts by various countries including Trump

Various countries, including the US and Europe, are trying to end the war between Russia and Ukraine that has been going on for more than three and a half years. US President Trump recently held separate meetings with the heads of both countries and appealed for peace talks. But no solution has been reached yet. Russia is ready to end the war on its own terms. While Ukrainian President Zelensky has refused to accept some of the conditions. 

More than 1300 drone attacks

Ukrainian President Zelensky said a day earlier that Russia had carried out more than 1,300 drone strikes in the first six days of September alone. In addition, it had launched 900 guided aerial bombs and more than 50 missile strikes. Russian forces have captured the Markov settlement in Ukraine's eastern province of Donetsk. On the other hand, Ukraine attacked Russia's Ryazan oil refinery.
