Stop buying oil from Russia, put pressure on China too: Trump's 'advice' to European countries 1 - image

Russian Oil Europe: An important meeting was held in Europe between Russia and the Ukraine war. In this meeting, US President Donald Trump spoke to the European leaders and said that they have to stop buying crude from Russia. If the Ukraine war is to end, then the purchase of crude from Russia has to be stopped immediately. Economic pressure will also have to be put on China.

On one hand, Trump has imposed a 50 percent tariff on India for buying crude from Russia. On the other hand, Trump is advising European countries not to buy crude from Russia, now the question arises whether he will impose tariffs on European leaders as well. Notably, Trump gave this message in a virtual meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky and European leaders. This meeting was organized by the 'Coalition of the Willing', a group active in efforts to establish security and peace in Ukraine.

Macron's big announcement

After this meeting, French President Emmanuel Macron made a major announcement that 'if there is a ceasefire, 26 countries are ready to send troops to the peacekeeping force. The very next day after the ceasefire agreement, 26 Western allies will deploy their troops in Ukraine on all three fronts - 'land, sea and air'.' However, Macron clarified that, 'European security guarantees will be effective only when America plays the role of a 'safety net'. In the coming days, we will finalize American cooperation for Ukraine's security guarantees.'

How much did Russia earn from Europe?

Trump is frustrated by the lack of concrete results in peace talks nearly three weeks after meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska. According to sources, Trump is now considering whether he can mediate directly and bring the Kremlin and Ukrainian leaders together? A White House official said that during the virtual meeting, Trump insisted that 'Europe stop buying oil from Russia, because in just one year Russia has earned 1.1 billion euros from selling crude. European countries will also have to put pressure on China because it is financially supporting Russia's war.'

Action against India mentioned in the meeting

Trump, while naming India in this meeting, said, 'I have already taken action against India. I have increased the tariff by 50% on India's purchase of Russian crude, so that funds coming to Russia can be stopped.' Let us tell you that Trump's tariff stance has been criticized by the American court itself. The lower court of America has declared the tariff invalid. The Trump administration has challenged the decision to cancel the tariff policy by the lower court in the Supreme Court. The Trump government had filed a 251-page appeal before the US Supreme Court. In which it argued that this duty is part of the 'already declared national emergency' related to the Russia-Ukraine war and is an important step in President Donald Trump's peace strategy. A 25 percent reciprocal duty has been imposed on India and an additional 25 percent tariff has been imposed on the import of Russian energy products.

Will Trump come to India for the Quad summit? Amid tariff dispute, India-US relations may see a new beginning

India-US Relations :   Tensions are currently running high between India and the US and between President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but will the friendship between the two leaders get back on track? This question has become the center of discussion in global diplomacy. Despite trade tensions and 50% tariffs between India and the US, an opportunity to strengthen relations between the two countries can be found in the Quad (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) summit. India is going to host this summit in November this year. Trump recently took to his social media platform Truth Social to describe the India-US trade relationship as a one-sided disaster and imposed a total of 50% tariffs on India, including an additional 25% tariff on its purchase of Russian oil. He also claimed that India had offered to reduce the tariffs to zero, but it was too late. On the other hand, India has called the tariffs unfair, unexpected and unreasonable. However, PM Modi did...
