Ukraine Trusts India's Role in Peace Talks: Despite America's efforts and US President Donald Trump's one-on-one meetings, the war between Ukraine and Russia is not stopping. Both countries are insisting on their respective conditions. In such a situation, Ukraine has now made a statement that will make Donald Trump jealous of India. Trump is already pressuring India to buy oil from Russia and has also announced a 50 percent tariff. In such a situation, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Sibihan is confident that India will play an important role in stopping the war. 

On Thursday, Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiha had a telephonic conversation. After the conversation, Jaishankar said that India supports an early end to the conflict in Ukraine and the establishment of peace. Sibiha said that he briefed Jaishankar about the current state of the war and Ukraine's efforts to establish peace. He posted, saying, 'We trust in India's active role in the complete end of the war and international peace efforts.' 

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister also said that the two leaders will meet during the United Nations General Assembly this month. 

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently visited China. Where he had a bilateral meeting and long discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In this meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the Putin-Trump meeting and how to stop the Ukraine conflict. Earlier, PM Modi also had a telephonic conversation with Ukrainian President Zelensky.
